Start
off by selecting a logo set from the
pull down menu and selecting your desired
template. This will be your 'jump off'
point.
There are many
different sets to choose from. You'll
find more logo sets (like the Corporate
sets 2 and 3, the Hollywood logo set
or the Cartoon pak) at http://www.thelogocreator.com

Once you've
got your logo on screen, you can modify it
by moving all of the elements around, choosing
different logo text, colorizing or adding a
gradient to the logo objects and text, changing
the font (there are over 50 built in fonts!
And, you can use your own fonts that you've
downloaded and installed off the net!), adding
subtle drop shadows or outlining the text.

| Each logo set comes with its own
object library (swooshes, orbs and other logo
elements like cartoon characters and mascots)
The more logo sets you have, the more objects
you'll have to use between them. |

| Clicking on an object
element (an image) will bring up the 'element
setter'. Here, you can change the selected
object (see the top two panel images to
the right). Choose "Set Image" to
change your selected object, or "Add
New Image" to add one of the new objects
to your logo. |

Or,
clicking any text element will bring
up the Text element setter (as reflected
in the 3rd panel above). Here, you can
create and duplicate your text.
And, there's a
built in Slogan and Tagline generator
that you can use to generate your company
slogan! Over 500 to choose from. Every
logo needs a slogan or tagline!
You can even import your own
images, clipart, or photos to further
customize your logo! Just pull down
the FILE menu and select 'Import'!

| Export your final logo in
various formats!
Jpeg, PNG and transparent Gif for
the web, or export as a 300dpi TIF
or BMP image for print purposes!
Other formats; PNG, PDF and PNG with transparency (alpha
channel!) for use in Photoshop or Fireworks.
